The light shines on your face.
Do you see it?
I see it now; I see it shine
on you often.
Sometimes, I make it shine
on you in darkness.
And sometimes, I make myself
see it, though it may not be there.
I know that sometimes I
Have made the light
leave your face.
I have made you dark before.
And I have made you gray.
But not so now.
I see the light on your face.
Do you see it shine on you?
I see it now.
