Forever Together

I have an image in my mind
I heard your voice between the lines
We are together in the end
Have all the wide world’s time to spend

I walked alone for far too long
But then you came and sang your song
And so at once I fell for you
Knowing together we’ll be true

For never has one been so kind
As you, my sweet, are love defined
And so our spirits are as one
They dance and flow, like rivers run

Though you may be now miles away
I’m with you now and there to stay
And never harm I’ll let you touch
As you, my all, I love too much

So if ever you shall die before me
Ask if you can bring a friend
